DK’s “I Love” series = The next generation of encyclopedia
This is the most recognizable DK series in the school market. In this program style narrative or storyline is introduced to the learning environment. This is the most derivative of the DK Book publishing influence. DK book editors were most attuned to how children respond to STORY and these titles create a narrative to support the learning topic. Characterization is emphasized as fun, humorous characters are put in “real world” encounters.
